Hi, everyone!
Last week, I didn't quite make the deadline,
but I'm back this week
with another excerpt from my #NaNoWriMo novel,
"She's No Angel."
In this snippet, David's in the kitchen talking to Lisa's cook,
who's known her for years.
“Doc, go get yo’ girl,” he said, his voice almost
pleading. “She fixin’ a do something
crazy.”
“I know,
but--”
And just
then, she came rushing out of the morning room and through the kitchen, to the
back door before I could even finish my sentence.
By the time
I got outside myself, there was no sign of her.
She was
gone.
I went back
to the kitchen where Henri was waiting.
"Oh, she
getting bold now,” he said. “Where she
at?”
"Damien’s,
I imagine.”
Well, I hope you enjoyed this week's snippet.
Of course, the book's not out yet.
It's still being edited before I send it off, but I'm making good progress.
In the meantime, I have a bunch of other books you can get. You can look at them on this blog, or on my Amazon Author Page, which can be found here.
As always, please be sure and visit the other authors' blogs.
They're always entertaining and can be found here.
