I've decided to do Nanowrimo this year. I haven't done it since 2009, but I'm really looking forward to it. If you don't know what it is, it's where you try to write an entire novel within the month of November.
The goal is to hit 50,000 words, and you have to write about 1666 words each day to make it. I didn't make it last time, but I did end up with a pretty good rough draft. It's totally worth trying. If you want to try it, go to Nanowrimo and sign up. It's a lot of work, but also a lot of fun.

Yay! This'll be my fourth Nano (5th if you count Camp Nano this July). I'm finiansmom over there- feel free to grab me as a writing buddy. Do you have much activity in a local region? I found that going to local write-ins really helps me to win, as well as the one nano-related group I'm in on fb.
ReplyDeleteI'm just angiesargenti. Being writing buddies sounds fun. I haven't been to anything yet, but the do have them. They're having a party on the 31st, and a couple of write-ins. I might try to go to one.
