Then there's the agent round, which I am totally ready for.

Other than that, not much else is happening, except I

found an awesome new critique partner

Her book hasn't come out yet, but I'll

Hi, everyone!

First things first--

Here's me:

I currently live in California
(no, not the good beach part, the hot part.)
It's not too bad. 
I'm surrounded by vineyards and am close to
San Francisco.
I have a wonderful husband to whom I have
been married for twenty years,
and a son who's grown up.
The only babies I have at home
are my three cats.
I love to read, write, cook, and watch
baseball,
except my favorite team,
The Oakland A's,
keeps trading all my favorite players, the big meanies!
The new guys are cool, though.

so let me tell you
about my submission,
VENGEANCE JONES.


Vengeance--it’s not just her name, it’s also her credo.

Growing up, fifteen-year-old Vengeance Jones never thought much about the mother who abandoned her at birth.  But when her father lets slip that her mom still lives in town, Vengeance knows she must look her up.  She pokes around and finds six half-brothers and sisters she never knew existed--children her mother kept.  Vengeance also discovers she’s of mixed race, which wouldn’t be so bad except her beloved grandmother was a racist xenophobe.  Her tender heart shatters and a white-hot rage rips through her, a rage even she can’t explain.  Her solution?  She hatches a deadly plan to avenge herself on her mother.
