Hi, everyone. 

Here's a quick little snippet from my work-in- progress,

The Cowboy and the Mail-Order Bride. 

In this excerpt, Eleanor's receiving her very first spanking ever.

Enjoy!

He spanked hard and steady, lecturing me about my role as a proper wife, about my being lackadaisical about learning how to do things.

“Those chickens frighten me,” I told him.  “I didn’t grow up on a farm.  I’m not used to them.”

"They ain’t gonna hurt you.  Now, you learn to put up with them or I’ll burn your butt, do you understand me?”

"It already feels like it’s burning.”

“Good.  Maybe it’ll get your attention.”

Hi, everyone. 

This week I have another excerpt from

"The Cowboy and the Mail-order Bride." 

In this snippet, Eleanor has just received a letter from her prospective bridegroom

in which he discusses his ideas on discipline. 

“What does he say?” asked Penny.

“He says he’s going to spank me.”

“He does not.”

“He does.  Read it for yourself.”

She took the letter and read it with a skeptical look on her face, but when she got to the part where he discussed his ideas on discipline, her face got serious and she handed it back.

“I guess you’re not going to go, are you?”

“Oh, I’ll go.  What reason could he ever have to punish me?  I’m as good as gold.”

Today's snippet is about a mail-order bride's conversation with her new husband.

“You’re a sassy little baggage, ain’t you?”

“Well, it’s a modern age.  I predict someday women will even get to vote.”

“The hell you say.”

“No, it’s true,” I told him.

“Well, even if they let you, no wife of mine’s going to stick her nose where it don’t belong.  Which puts me in mind of something else: gossiping will get your ass busted.”

Something about the way he said that made my nether parts clench up.
