The Vampires' Ball

Hi, everyone.
I'm back again this week with another new snippet,
this time from my work-in-progress,
The Vampires' Ball, a vampire spanking romance.

“Come on, Philippa.  Tell Master.  Are you sorry you’ve been so bratty?”

And still she would not answer, so I paddled her bottom a good half a dozen more times.  She was red and very, very hot, and was already getting bruised.  I was sorely tempted to get her up and bend her over and strap her good, but ten or twelve more blows and she finally cracked.

“I’m sorry,” she gasped.  “I won’t do it any more.  Please.”
I stopped and glanced across at Regina.  She nodded slightly and I leaned forward and handed her the paddle.

Well, I hope you enjoyed it!

Review of Werewolf Brothers Make Better Lovers

Have you seen the awesome review Christina Harding did of "Werewolf Brothers Make Better Lovers"?  If not, check it out here and on her blog at
http://christinahardingerotica.blogspot.com/2014/08/werewolf-brothers-make-better-lovers-by.html

Genre: Paranormal/Threesome

Synopsis:
Venice is a magical city. It brings out the best...and the beast in all of us! Amy is a young American who has moved to Venice to pursue her architectural career. But when she meets two suave and sophisticated brothers, Amy realizes that Venice has so much more to offer....

My Review:
This was a fun read. What I enjoy about paranormal erotica is how many opportunities it opens for creativity, a freedom which Angela clearly utilized while writing Werewolf Brothers Make Better Lovers. Rather than going the BDSM route, which I see frequently with paranormal erotica, Angela takes the route of making these werewolves dangerous, forbidden lovers (not unlike Edward in Twilight). She also has fun with describing the folklore regarding werewolves, though at times I wished she had explained it a little more clearly. By putting two werewolves in this short, Angela was able to include their banter, which gave the reader an interesting insight into the werewolves and their mannerisms. I appreciated how Angela explored the differences between the werewolves and humans by getting inside of the werewolves heads, rather than focusing so much on their physical characteristics. It created a unique perspective. I think this is a good read for those who like paranormal erotica, and especially those who enjoyed Twilight.

Flappers, Jazz, and Valentino

House of Erotica has just released a new anthology

Flappers, Jazz and Valentino

Is it not enough to lead my son into wild ways without teaching my daughter the tango? – Dona Luisa, The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
Step back in time to a decade full of glamour, glitz and decadent sin with this collection of erotica set in the Roaring Twenties. With twelve stories, in all shades from romantic and sensual to burning hot, this collection is the perfect appetizer for a night out at the speakeasy. A journalist gets a sexy introduction to the sinful syncopation of jazz music. A three-way tango performance becomes the steamiest ticket in town. The owners of a speakeasy set up a very special audition for their new trumpet boy. All this jazz and more in Flappers, Jazz and Valentino, edited by Jillian Boyd.
My story, The Nympho, about a pair of loving, protective men and the woman they want to take care of is in there, along with stories by Lola White, Brent Archer, Blacksilk, V.C.,  T.G. Haynes, Eva Starling, Blair Erotica, and Sasha Distan.

The Florist

Hi, everyone!
I'm back again this week, and since I finished writing, "Ransome My Love,"
my work in progress is from a short story I'm doing
about a florist who maintains discipline in his shop in a most creative manner.
Enjoy!

He grabbed the stripped roses by the head, about half a dozen of them.

“Bend over,” he told me.  “Pull your jeans and underwear down and bend over.”

“No, please.”

“Do it, or I’ll make it worse for you.”

So I did as I was told and took down my pants, and then I bent over the rough wooden counter.  Suddenly, I felt the rose stems land across my buttocks like a bunch of switches.

“Oh, God.”

“Yes.  Maybe you’ll think about this next time you decide to come in late.”

Well, I hope you enjoyed it!
